Obituary of William W. Gretzinger

William "Bill" W. Gretzinger Of Waukesha, was reunited with his wife Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Bill was born March 13, 1933, the son of John and Matilda Gretzinger in Shawano, WI. He married the love of his life, Nancy Ann (Braem) on June 8, 1957. Bill was a longtime member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed gardening, travel, fishing and hunting. Bill was a handyman around the house and loved his dogs. He also had a Christmas tree lot on the corner of Moreland and Delafield in the 1970's. Most of all spending time with family was important. Bill will be deeply missed by his children, Mark (Cheryl) Gretzinger, Brenda (Paul Dupey) Cooper and Denise (David) Schmitz; grandkids, Amanda, Alexis, Jacob, Jennifer, Emily, Joshua, Michael and Nicholas; and brother, Frank Gretzinger. ? Bill is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; son, Paul; 5 sisters, 3 brothers and his parents. The funeral service for Bill will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. The Rev. Peter Schmidt will officiate. The visitation for Bill will be on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. service at church. The burial will be private at Prairie Home Cemetery.
