Obituary of Marlene Elias

Marlene V. Elias, aged 88, departed this life on April 27, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on August 8, 1935, to William and Viola Elias (nee Eltag), Marlene touched the lives of all who knew her.

A dedicated volunteer at Waukesha Springs, Marlene exemplified compassion and generosity in all aspects of her life. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as bowling, music, and spending quality time with her beloved family.

Marlene will be deeply missed by her Siblings; Richard (Mary) Elias and Donna (Eric) Groenke, Nieces and Nephews; Joanne (Harry) Kallipolitis of Minnesota, Eric ( Betsy) Elias of Minnesota,Tracie (Shane) Pinkal of Waukesha, David ( Stephanie) Dean of Muskego, Melanie (Craige) Johnson of California, Tom Groenke of Nashotah, Monica Groenke of Watertown, Christina (Sean) Kelly of Delafield, Michelle (Kartik) Kumar of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, William and Viola Elias, Brother William Elias, Sister-in-law Carole Elias, Sister-in-law Carrie Wery, and Nephew Steven Elias.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Marlene's life at the visitation on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the start of services at 1:00 p.m. at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to support the Waukesha paramedics, a cause close to Marlene's heart.
