Obituary of Lillian A. Miller

Lillian Angeline Miller (nee Sakovitz) passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 3, 2021 at the age of 93. Born to Louis and Elizabeth Sakovitz on March 23, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lillian graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and was a dedicated grade and high school teacher throughout her life. She received multiple teaching rewards and was a member of The National Honor Society of Secondary School Teachers. After her retirement in 1990, Lillian and Duane traveled extensively, enjoying their later years of life. She was also very active in the parish activities of her church. Lillian is lovingly joining her husband of 70 years Duane who passed in 2020.

Lillian will be truly missed by her sons, Warren (Sheryl) and Kevin; grandchildren Melissa (Cameron), Matthew, and Michael (Katy); great grandchildren Kayley, Elana, Sloan, Vaughn, and a host of many long-term friends. She was preceded in death by her eldest son Mark.

The visitation for Lillian will be held on Monday November 15, 2021 from 9:00am until the start of services at 10:00am at St. Paul Catholic Church S38 W31602 Wern Way, Genesee Depot, WI 53189. In lieu of flowers, please plant a memorial tree in memory of Lillian Miller.
