Obituary of Viola Jankiewicz

Viola Jankiewicz, of Gallatin, TN, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2020 at the age of 101.  She was born on April 30, 1919 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Arno and Ella Tippner.  She married the love of her life Henry Jankiewicz on September 12, 1942.    She was a member of the International Catholic Deaf Association Chapter 7 in Milwaukee, WI.  Viola was greatly involved with the Schoenstatt Movement in Waukesha. She supported her daughter on her journey to become a Sister of Schoenstatt.  Viola enjoyed sewing and reading.  She loved spending time with her friends and family.

Viola will be deeply missed by her children, Stephen (June Rae) Jankiewicz and G. Robert (Marsha) Jankiewicz; grandchildren, Steve (Collette), Cory (Bruce), Natalie (Rob), Matthew (Megan), Maria and Samuel; and, great grandchildren, Christopher, Brittney, Lucas, Ryan, Mallory, Scarlett, and Mattie Kate.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in March of 1999.  Her daughter, Sister Mary Darlene; sister, Irene; and brother, Herbert also preceded her in death.
